Wanted to send out a quick post before tomorrow night's training with Michael Price. And for those who don't know who Michael Price is, he trained Tony Robbins (The Secret) and National Motivational Speaker. He also is the founder of Priceless Possibilities. And he is known for his weekly FREE training calls that you will see below every Thursday.
So, tomorrow is about twitter. And I have been ranting about this to my clients recently hounding them that they need to start "communicating" with people on twitter. NOT just posting their business links and opportunities, but they need to start actually communicating.
Now, what does this mean? Well it's simple. If you look at the "logic" and the simple words that is suggested when you log in to your twitter page, it simply says "what are you doing? OK, So, people can use their twitter page however the heck they want... and we imagine they will. So let them.. The great thing about twitter is it's diverse nature of it.
For example. Over the weekend I was talking to someone ALL the way over in Australia. I had put in my update this question. See pic:

And I start a conversation with him and learn something from him about my BRAIN!!!!!! LMAO!!!! I learned something from someone all the way over in Australia!!!! That's the power of Twitter... that's the diversity of twitter and how much fun we can have with it. We need to get out of the mentality that we are just using it for business. We will FAIL at it if we use it for only that. It's a communication tool. It's actually the PERFECT way to build a relationship with someone. It actually doesn't get any FREE'r than this to communicate with anyone around the globe and talk about anything. So when we get to know people regardless of the topic, we can THEN talk about business, talk shop and then be able to potentially draw leads. Attraction marketing.....
And guess what has been happening lately? I have been logging in and going to my replies to find people replying to me saying this? see pic:
I mean WOW!!! what an honor! Why? Because I'm actually communicating with people. I talk with them, I write back, I laugh with them, I ask them where they are from, I tell them what I'm doing, I share things with them, I share what I don't like, what I do like, what I'm pissy about, what I'm eating.. (yes, I do this... I don't care what people think... twitter is diverse, and some people care what I eat..) I tell them what I'm watching, I ask what their watching, and then yes, I will post links everyday of my clients to help promote... so I do promote business, but through this, I'm alway talking to people.
